Acclaimed music writer, Terry Rawlings, is one of the seminal documenters of British Pop and Rock. His labour of love - 'Mod - A Very British Phenomenon' - hit the best seller lists. The enormous respect and warmth he has generated in the music industry was vividly portrayed at a benefit gig held in his honour to raise money for his fight against a rare form of cancer. Friends from the world of Punk and Mod lined up to support the event, including Clash guitarist Mick Jones, Sex Pistol Glen Matlock, Buzzcock Steve Diggle and Ocean Colour Scene frontman Simon Fowler. It was an inspiring night.
